Changes in the latest version are a step backwards. The number of new podcasts should not be removed upon launch, but only after having been played. Similar to the standard UI for e-mail; count of unread. And playing all new podcats without pause causes issues if you remove your ear buds and several podcats go by inadvertently. Hard to go back and find the ones you did not hear. Once the tile rearrange, almost impossible to find the ones you missed. While keeping the UI simple by eliminating options is an admirable goal, perhaps some options might satisfy more users. Please restore individual play as an option!

This app is clean, simple and practical. A distilled experience. Job well done. Minus one star for the Next Up screen and continuous playback. I feel like the app is slowly loosing its beauty and simplicity. Less is more.

Not too many features keeps it super clean. Elegant ux. Suggest long-press to share an episode. iCloud sync for subscriptions would be nice too.

This app is for casual podcast listeners. If you have a bunch of podcasts you listen to this is definitely not for you. The app itself is strange to me. Adding shows to the up next list is not intuitive at all. The minimal design is too minimal. Plus my podcasts were all out of order. They should be in alphabetical order or some discernible order to speak of.

perfectly simplistic, easy to use, and has all the functions I need to make listening to podcasts enjoyable. by far the best podcast app Ive ever tried.

I really miss the Up Next feature : ( It was one of the main reasons I used this app. Is there anyway we can get this back or a feature similar to it?

I cant think of a single good reason to eliminate the "up next" feature and find it incredibly annoying to have to dig in my pocket in the middle of whatever at sometimes random walls of silence, open my phone, open the app and click out of the already played podcasts and then go click the next podcast downloaded. Whoever told you to get rid of it was loony. Nothing else wrong, just the most convenient feature removed lol

So clean, simple, elegant, and easy to use, youd think this is the podcast app Apple should have included on the iPhone. Podcast discovery could be better (seems Search is the only option) and I wish the text truncation wasnt so heavy handed, but those are small quibbles. Four stars.

After Swell was swallowed, I think this app is the next option. It doesnt have the smarts to serve podcasts based on interest but at least it offers a clean way of consuming new episodes. It would be better if it could connect my favorite episodes so I dont have to click on the next one after the one I am listening ends.

Now Network is free with IAP to unlock the feature of steaming, various play speed.. etc For new users, u cant play any podcast unless pay the IAP $1.99. And u call this app free......

Minimal, not cluttered, and straightforward podcast app. Great.

I had high hopes for this app. Maybe it was just too simplistic in its approach. But when improvements are seen as step backs by many users and bugs continue to crawl its time to say goodbye. If you listen to under 10 podcasts this app may suffice but when you want an app that gives you a simple layout, intuitive controls, with more powerful features try a more popular app. I recommend PodCruncher. Edit** I should add that I use bluetooth headphones to pause and continue. Worked fine before last 2 updates (I didnt update last time so I am not sure if the bug started this update or last) Pls fix. Other wise 4 1/2 stars. Older--- Thanks for listening. However update made all previously listened to podcasts to be reset to some random time remaining. Ability to mark podcasts played has also been removed. Request: Please include a switch or some way to turn on and off downloading for each podcast. When finding and listening to a new podcast I always listen to all the older episodes first thus dling newer ones just takes up space.

This was, and pretty much still is, my favorite podcast player. For whatever reason, the dev decided to use a square for adding new podcasts and a circle to take you to the "now playing" screen. After months of use, this is still confusing. Please, please, please use standard icons, Mr. Dev! Theres absolutely no need to reinvent icons for commonly used functions, particularly when the icons are so abstract that they lose all meaning. This was a five star app before the odd UI updates.

Great app, its simple, clean and easy to use. The last update; however, added an unnecessary "Download" button instead of simply being able to swipe over to download. At least add a toggle to turn off text, simpler is better. Dont make me click more to use the app. Please, please remove this pointless extra click, or at least let me turn it off.

Easy to use, looks great, does everything I need it to. Only problem is the new download button.

Things that made this a waste of money (item is non-returnable): 1. Episode titles dont show in most episodes. Descriptions appear from the end, not leaving space for the title (a very uninformative, ugly sight). 2. No control over data usage. 3. The thing with having to tap, as opposed to the previous swipe, to download the other reviewer to talks about here is also extremely annoying.

Theres only so much minimalism before it gets difficult to use. Maybe a "settings" button would make it perfect? I do like it a lot though

I bought this app mainly because of the Apple Watch support. I was skeptical about how useful it would be due to the minimal design, but after using it for a few days I realize it covers every feature I actually care about. The interface is simple, yet attractive, and all the information you need about every podcast is presented clearly and concisely. I have now deleted all my other podcast apps, and use this one exclusively.

This is the best podcast streamer/player I have found.
